The Convenor of AP EDCET 2016 examination, Mr. T Kumara Swamy has announced the revised counselling schedule for the admission into B.Ed courses across various colleges of Andhra Pradesh. So far, the counselling has been postponed for three times. The classes were scheduled to commence in the second week of August. According to the revised schedule, the counselling will begin on August 27, 2016, and will continue till August 29, 2016.

The candidates who have qualified the AP EDCET 2016 examination can attend the counselling in any of the following cities:-
- Ananthapur
- Chittoor
- Kakinada
- Guntur and
- Vizag
However, the candidates under NCC, Sports and PH quota have to attend the counselling either in Guntur or Tirupati. The candidates are directed to carry all the necessary documents for the counselling without fail.

The APE EDCET 2016 examinations as held in the month of May. The examination was conducted by Sri Venkateswara University. Around 9,500 candidates took the test. There was a tremendous response for English, Mathematics and Social streams.
