Anna University DEET 2016 exam dates announced
Anna university centre of distance education entrance test has announced the exam dates for Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET-2016), which will be conducted in February 2016. The DEET will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
DEET is conducted for taking admission to distance Master of Business Administration (MBA) offered in General Management, Technology Management, Financial Services Management, Marketing Management, Operations Management, Health Services Management, Human Resource Management and Hospitality Services Management and distance Master of Computer Application (MCA) programs for the session 2016.
For MBA Program: Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The bachelor’s degree must have been obtained through 10+2+3 pattern.
For MCA Program: Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The bachelor’s degree must have been obtained through 10+2+3 pattern. Candidate should have studied Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or Mathematics at HSC level.

The completed application form along with the demand draft for Rs.650 drawn in favour of “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University” payable at Chennai should be sent to “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai – 600025.
The demand draft must be obtained from any nationalized bank on or after the date specified in the advertisement.
For MBA Program: The question paper will be designed to test the capability of the candidates in the following areas:
Basic Quantitative Ability
For MCA Program: The question paper will be designed to test the capability of the candidates in the following areas:
- Quantitative Ability
- Analytical Reasoning
- Logical Reasoning
- Computer Awareness
- Verbal Activity, Basic Science, etc
The question paper will contain 100 objectives type questions to be answered in 2 hours. Each question will have four alternative answers.
Candidate has to choose the most appropriate answer and has to shade the choice of the answer in the box against each question. While evaluating the answers, one mark is awarded for each correct answer. Wrong answers will be considered to break the tie.
