Anshul Bhadauria from the Manipal Public School, Lucknow on Rae Bareli road bagged the first position in the state (Allahabad region) with 98.6 per cent marks in the CBSE Class 12 examinations. Anshul wants to become an IAS officer and bring about a positive change in the economy of the country.
An extrovert who has no problems getting friendly with anyone, Anshul had just arrived from Nainital after a vacation when she received the good news. She scored extremely good marks in Humanities to get such a high percentage. Her score card reads like a dream card with:
- 99 in Psychology,
- 99 in Physical Education,
- 96 in Economics,
- 100 in History
- 97 in English
“I am on cloud nine. I had never expected that I will be scoring such a high percentage. I was thinking that I will get somewhere between 90-95 per cent marks but certainly not the marks that I have got,” she said. Incidentally, in Class 10 CBSE examinations, the young girl had scored only 7.8 CGPA.
“I had not scored too well in my Class 10 examinations and it was the school principal who advised that I should take up Humanities and hence I have scored well this time because Science is not my strength” she said.
