The physical education department of Acharya Nagarjuna University concluded Yuvajanotsav-2016 a literary, cultural and sports fest on 22-March-2016.

The department conducted various competitions for the university students of various departments on 21-March-2016 and 22-March-2016. Around 150 students participated in the competitions enthusiastically.

The winners were awarded a certificate and memento at Valedictory ceremony. The chief guest for the valedictory ceremony was Acharya Sambasiva Rao, rector, ANU. Addressing the students he said, “Students must take part in the competitions actively to develop their skills and talents. A student excels in his life and career if he/she uses his/her skills and talents in a positive and healthy manner”. He advised students not to leave any opportunity related to education and personality development.

Various competitions like;

  • Paper presentation
  • Poster presentation
  • Essay writing
  • Debate
  • Quiz
  • Solo and Group Singing
  • Solo and Group dance and
  • Sports competitions

Quiz competition was conducted on 22-March-2016 and the first place was bagged by P.Sudharshan, R.Bade Nayak and M.Prem Kumar of University Arts College.
