The following categories of candidates are eligible to participate in this round: those who have secured a seat but not shown interest in joining, those who haven't secured seats despite certificate verification, those who aspire for better options, and those who have reported or not reported but cancelled their allotment. Candidates who fall into these categories can exercise their options afresh, keeping in mind that options given in earlier phases won't be considered for this round.
Candidates who are satisfied with their previous allotment need not exercise options again. However, if they choose to exercise new options and a seat is allotted, the vacated seat will be allotted to the next meritorious candidate, and they will have no claim on the previous allotment. Candidates need to understand the implications of exercising new options and make informed decisions accordingly.
Candidates are advised to exercise options for interested colleges and courses, assuming vacancies may arise in all colleges during the sliding process. After exercising options, candidates can make changes to their selections on September 13, 2025.
