AP EAMCET Final Phase Seat allotment 2025:
Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education postponed the AP EAMCET Final Phase Seat Allotment Result 2025 that was scheduled on August 4 due to a case in AP HC regarding the local status of 3 students. The seat allotment has been delayed since then, and APSCHE has not given any further updates on the issue. The status of the AP HC hearing on the local status issue is still unknown, and there is no official update on whether the matter has already been heard or will be heard soon. As the academic session for first-year students might get impacted due to this delay, APSCHE will try to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
There is a chance for AP EAMCET 2025 Final Phase Seat Allotment announcement by August 14 if the issue gets resolved.
However, the date is tentative and further delay can be expected if the court hearing/ proceedings get extended/ deleyed further.

AP EAMCET Final Phase Counselling 2025: HC decision on local status awaited, seat allotment further delayed
Three students who stuided Class 10 in Andhra Pradesh and Intermediate in Telangana filed a case in AP HC against DTE for not considering them as 'local candidates' in AP EAMCET counselling 2025. After hearing the arguments, the court directed the Department of Technical Education to consider these three students as 'local candidates'. However, DTE is not in favour of accepting the HC decision because the web options process has already been closed, phase 1 reporting concluded, and the final phase seat allotments are already prepared. Considering these 3 students under the 'local candidates' category shall lead to practical problems in counselling, and the entire allotments, merit rankings etc, must be changed, which will lead to more problems. Therefore, DTE decided to file a counter-petition on the HC order.

Due to these administrative problems, the final phase counselling of AP EAMCET 2025 has been stalled temporarily. The classes for first-year students was supposed to begin on August 4, and it is already been a week delay. Students are hoping for a quick resolution of this issue so that they can join the college.
