After registration, candidates can fill in their choices of colleges and courses through the web options window, which will be opened from October 5, 2025. It is mandatory to fill up these choices, as they will be considered for seat allotment at participating institutes. After submitting the web options, candidates will get an option to change their preferences, but only for a specified time. The result of the second phase seat allotment will also be published soon after the closing of web options, and candidates who get seats allotted have to attend colleges on or before October 13, 2025. This is to guarantee the fair and transparent distribution of B.Ed seats across the entire state.

Candidates must carefully fill in their preferred colleges and courses during the web option process by following these steps.
- Log in to the official counselling portal: edcet-sche.aptonline.in with your hall ticket number and date of birth
- Access to the web option/choice filling section
- Select preferred colleges and B.Ed courses in order of priority
- Save options and submit before the time limit
- Verify all entries carefully; Only allowed to edit within the specified amendment period
- Take a printout of the options presented for future reference
