Andhra Pradesh Police Recruitment 2022 – Step-by-Step Selection Process

The AP Police selection process 2022 involves three stages – the Preliminary Examination, the Physical Test, and the Final Examination. Aspirants can go through each of the stages and important instructions here:

Stage 1: Preliminary Written Examination 

The AP Police Prelims 2022 exam comprises two papers of 100 marks each – Paper 1 based on Arithmetic and Reasoning/Mental Ability, and Paper 2 based on General Studies. The questions asked in the exam are all Multiple-Choice type and the duration of each paper is 3 hours. 

Candidates are mandated to pass the Preliminary exam to qualify for the next stage. 

Stage 2: Physical Measurement Test/Physical Efficiency Test (PMT/PET)

In the next stage of recruitment, shortlisted candidates are to appear for PMT/PET exam which requires the following:

Candidates who pass the Physical Measurement Test/Physical Efficiency Test will be shortlisted for the Final selection round, which is a written exam.

Stage 3: Final Written Examination 

The AP Police Final 2022 exam is again a written paper conducted offline. It is mandatory for candidates to score well in the Mains exam since the marks obtained in the final paper are taken into account when publishing the result.
