The notification schedule has been released on the official website on February 28, 2026 . AP POLYCET (Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) is the only entrance test through which candidates can get admission into various Diploma Engineering/Technology courses (CSE and ECE) offered by government and private polytechnic institutions in Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates who passed or are appearing for Class 10 (SSC ) or Equivalent can also apply. Candidates should be Indian Citizens and Andhra Pradesh Domicile as per the Local Rules of the State. There is no age limit to appear for the exam.

AP POLYCET 2026 will follow the standard exam structure used in previous years, based on fundamental concepts in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The exam will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode, where students will have to mark their responses on OMR sheets.
The question paper consists of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), divided as follows:

- Physics – 30 questions
- Chemistry – 30 questions
