Assam NEET PG Counselling 2022: The Director of Medical Education, Assam has begun the online registrations for the first round of counselling under the Assam State Quota for admissions into 50% PG seats in Government Medical Colleges of Assam and BCCI Guwahati. The registration window was activated at dme.assam.gov.in on September 19, 2022 while the last date to register is September 23, 2022 (until 11:59 PM).

Candidates who have met the cutoff scores in NEET PG 2022 as given by the NBE are eligible to apply for the DME Assam NEET PG Counselling 2022. Once the registrations conclude, a link for choice filling will be activated on September 25. Based on these choice preferences and the merit of the candidate, the seat allotment will be released on October 6. It is to be noted that these dates and registrations are only for Assam State Quota while the counselling for State Health Service Quota will be held offline, the schedule for which will be conveyed soon.

Note: Choices not locked during the given duration will automatically be locked as available on September 30 @ 11:55 PM. No further changes to it will be entertained.

Assam NEET PG Counselling 2022: Steps to Apply

Follow through the steps mentioned here to apply for Assam NEET PG Counselling Registration 2022:

Step 1: Click on the direct link given above. Read through the instructions given there carefully before clicking on the ‘Next’ option.

Step 2: Fill out the personal, reservation, and educational details as asked and upload your photograph and signature of the following specifications:

  • Photograph: Height – 250 to 320 px, Width – 150 to 220 px, Size – Less than 50 KB, Format – JPG.
  • Signature: Height – 100 to 180 px, Width – 150 to 220 px, Size – Less than 30 KB, Format – JPG.
  • Also ensure that the photograph is recent, taken without goggles, glasses, etc., and is against a white/light background. Additionally, both ears of the candidate must be visible while the signature is to be done on a white background only using a black/blue ballpoint/ink pen.

Step 3: Create a password (8 to 12 characters) before submitting the application form. This login password will be required later on for further phases of counselling such as choice filling and locking.

Step 4: Take a printout of the filled-in application which is to be submitted at the allotted institute at the time of admission/document verification.
