The 2-day Assam Tribune EduFair jointly sponsored by The Assam Tribune Group and Oil India Limited started from Monday at DHS Kanoi College Dibrugarh. The Assam Tribune EduFair is one of the most prestigious education fairs of the state. The event saw a participation of some of the most reputed universities and educational institutions of the country as a whole.
Since its inception, the annual EduFair has been serving students from various streams with opportunities to find their choice of study in their field of interest. This event is known to bring educational institutions of the country every year to a common platform wherein students and parents can find valuable information on courses, scholarship, placement, fees etc. Some of the study options on offer were horticulture, agriculture, biotech, tourism, journalism and mass communication, technical, medical etc.
Some of the institutions taking part in the event include Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Royal Group of Institutions, Lovely Professional University, Mody University, Institute of Engineering and Management, Chandigarh University, PEWS Group of Institutions, ICFAI University (Sikkim), JIS University (Kolkata) and Parul University. This was the 1st time that TISS took part in the EduFair with number of vocational courses, particularly in agriculture subject.
