The Azim Premji Foundation has initiated the registration process for two-year full-time Fellowship Programme 2018. Young graduates who wish to work towards improving the status of education in the country can register for this programme. The key highlight of the fellowship programme that sets it apart from others is that it provides teaching opportunity at government schools. The applicants who are selected under this fellowship programme will be posted in the interior districts of states such as Telangana, Uttaranchal, Rajasthan, Puducherry, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh. The selected candidates (fellows) will have to commit to a life, which is not only challenging but also rewarding while pursuing this fellowship.
Azim Premji Foundation will provide a monthly fellowship of Rs. 28,800 to the shortlisted applicants. The selection process will involve an online written test and interview.

Azim Premji Fellowship Programme 2018 Eligibility: -
- Three to five years work experience is mandatory for the applicants who are applying for the fellowship.
- Post Graduate or Professional Degree in any discipline is mandatory for the applicants to be eligible for Fellowship Programme 2018.
- Applicants must have fluency in Hindi along with local languages like Tamil, Kannada and Telugu.
Azim Premji Fellowship Programme 2018 Application Process: -
- There is an official website for Azim Premji Foundation.
- The link to register online has been activated on the official website. The eligible and interested candidates can visit the website to complete the registration process.
- While registering online, the applicants will have to upload the Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Statement of Purpose (SOP) in PDF or MS Word format.
- In the SOP, the applicants will have to specify the reasons for evincing keen interest in fellowship programme and his/ her role in influencing the school education system.
- The maximum word limit for the SOP is 600 words while the minimum is 300 words.
Important Dates for Fellowship Programme 2018 Registrations: -
- October 29, 2017, is the deadline to submit the applications for the Azim Premji Foundation Fellowship Programme 2018.
- Interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place from December 11 to December 15, 2017.
