Azim Premji University Announces UG & PG Admissions 2018

Azim Premji University located in Bangalore has announced Undergraduate and Postgraduate admissions for the academic session 2018-19. All the details regarding the UG and PG admissions are elaborated below.

UG Courses Offered by Azim Premji University: -

Azim Premji University offers Bachelor of Arts (B.A) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) courses in the following specialisations: -

• Humanities
• Biology and/or Physics
• Economics

PG Courses Offered by Azim Premji University: -

Azim Premji University offers Postgraduate or PG courses in the following areas: -

• Master of Arts (M.A) in Public Policy and Governance
• Master of Arts (M.A) in Development
• Master of Arts (M.A) in Education

Fee Structure at Azim Premji University: -

Azim Premji UG Eligibility: -

• Candidates who have passed or are pursuing Class 12 can register for UG courses offered by Azim Premji University.
• 50% of marks in Class 12 is essential to be eligible for seeking admission.
• The upper age limit for the admission to UG courses is 19 years.

Azim Premji PG Eligibility: -

• For seeking admission to PG courses offered by Azim Premji University, the candidates must possess a graduation or UG degree in any discipline.
• Candidates pursuing final year UG course can also apply.
• Candidates with relevant work experience will be given more preference for the admission to PG courses.

LLM Eligibility at Azim Premji: -

• For these applicants, Bachelor’s degree in Law (3-year) or 5-year LLB course is mandatory to be eligible for the admission.
• Candidates with relevant work experience will be given more preference.

Application Procedure for UG and PG Courses at Azim Premji University: -

• The application process for UG and PG courses offered by Azim Premji University is possible in both online and offline mode.
• If the candidates wish to apply online, visit the official website of the varsity and complete the registration process.
• Pay the prescribed application fee in online mode.
• Candidates willing to apply offline must download the application form from the official website along with fee payment challan.
• Pay the fee in the prescribed bank.
• Fill up the application form and affix the relevant documents and challan.
• Send the application by Registered Post or Speed Post to Azim Premji University, Bangalore (full address will be available on the application form).
• The application for UG courses is Rs. 200 and Rs. 250 for PG courses.

Selection Procedure: -

• For both UG and PG courses, an entrance exam will be conducted to shortlist the application for the subsequent round of selection process, i.e., Personal interview.
• Personal Interview will be conducted in May 2018.
• Candidates will have to download the interview call letter from the official website.
• Final selection will be based on performance in the entrance test conducted by Azim Premji University and Personal Interview.
