The results of senior secondary & secondary school exam 2016 conducted by Bihar Board of Open Schooling & Examination (BBOSE) have been declared on the official website. The examinations were held in December 2016.
About 30.2 lakh candidates appeared for the class 10 and class 12 exam. Students who appeared in the examination can find out their results on the official website of the board. Due to heavy traffic on the website, the speed of the website is very slow. Therefore, students are advised to have patience and wait for a lean period of time.

Follow these steps to check your results -
- Log on to the official website of the board.
- The homepage will display a result declaration link and 10th and 12th examination held in December 2016.
- Now, click on it and you will be directed to a new page.
- It will ask for details like name and roll number.
- Press the enter button after entering the details.
- Result will be displayed on the screen of the computer.
- Next, download the result for further reference.
The admission process for the next academic year has commenced. Students who have been admitted/ registered/ enrolled to class 10th and 12th standard course at least six months before the final examination will be eligible to take the exam this year.

BBOSE is as an autonomous organisation under the Department of Education, Government of Bihar. The board was set up on the lines of National Institute of Open Schooling or NIOS, by MHRD or Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOI ie. Government of India. The board also conducts departmental examinations for Diploma in Physical Education and Certificate in Physical Education along with various Teachers Training Examination etc.
