- BSEB has introduced an online system for degree colleges to make the admission process transparent and easier for students.
- The board has also introduced OFSS where principals of degree colleges are required to upload necessary information.
The degree admission process in Bihar will be facilitated through an online portal. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) issued a notice to all the principles of recognized constituent and degree colleges stating that from new academic session admission to degree courses for candidates who qualify the Bihar Board Intermediate exam, will be conducted online. It will be a one window system where candidates can apply to different colleges online.
As of now, students who appeared in the Bihar Board intermediate exams had to apply to each degree college individually. This not only used to cost students more money but was also an additional burden to the students.

Apart from this, the admission process was also not transparent which was unfair to the deserving students and those who belonged to economically weak families.Therefore, the Bihar Board decided to introduce the online registration system in degree colleges.
BSEB has implemented Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) on its official website. All the principals of degree colleges are required to upload the data such as facility information, subject information, application fee etc. The last date to submit the information is 10 May 2018.

BSEB will soon release the result for Bihar Board Matric exam and Intermediate exam 2018. As per the reports, the evaluation process for both the exam has been completed and the board will declare the result by the first week of May itself.
