However, there is no rush to finish up the preparations quickly, yet it is advisable to wrap-up the documents to be carried, and last-minute preparations for the exam day. Although the most important part is to complete the CAT 2022 Syllabus, candidates should also be prepared for the exam day on what to do, what not to do, what to carry, or what not to carry. CAT 2022 Exam Day Do’s

Here are some of the things that candidates should do on the CAT 2022 Exam Day:
  • Candidates should carry a printed copy of the CAT 2022 Admit Card which can be downloaded from the official website, as digital copies will not be accepted. 
  • Detailed instructions are available on the admit card regarding the rules to be followed during the examination, which should be read by each candidate thoroughly and follow them on the exam day. 
  • Reach the examination centre mentioned on the admit card ahead of the reporting time mentioned on the admit card, to avoid a\last-minute hassle or traffic.
  • If candidates are travelling from far destinations to the examination centre, it is best to be prepared in advance for travelling and meals accordingly, so that they reach the venue on time and stay energetic & hydrated. 
  • Candidates will have to sign the attendance sheet on arrival at the venue of the CAT 2022 exam.
  • All the instructions imparted by the invigilator, or staff at the examination centre shall be followed strictly. 
  • Extra time will not be given during the examination, so candidates are advised to keep track of the time allotted (120 minutes) and attempt the CAT 2022 Question Paper with proper division of time to complete the question paper and revision.
  • Do not leave the examination centre, until the exam time is over.

CAT 2022 Exam Day Don’ts

While appearing for the CAT 2022 exam, here are some of the things that candidates should avoid:
  • Avoid being late to the examination centres, as latecomers will not be permitted to enter the hall.
  • Do not carry any prohibited items in the pockets or scribble or write on your hand on the examination day, as it may lead to disqualification. Even though the text may not be directly related to the CAT 2022 exam, it is not acceptable and will be treated as cheating. 
  • During the CAT 2022 exam, each candidate will be given a notepad or page to scribble or do their calculations, which must be submitted before leaving the examination centre with the details written about the candidate.
