CAT 2025 and AIBE 20 Exam Date Clash; Will the AIBE exam be delayed till December?

CAT 2025 and AIBE 20 Exam Date Clash: The Bar Council of India has released the AIBE 20 exam date, announcing the exam to be held on November 30, 2025. With the exam date announcement, it has been noticed that some aspirants are puzzled, as November 30 is also the exam date for CAT 2025. Although not a large number of candidates, a few candidates usually appear for both the CAT and AIBE exams. Hence, candidates planning to appear for both are expecting a change of dates for any of the exams.

The AIBE exam is conducted in order to issue a Certificate of Practice for law graduates, whereas the CAT is a PG-level entrance exam for admission to management courses. As per the schedule, AIBE 20 registration will begin on September 29, 2025, on the official website allindiabarexamination.com . The registrations for CAT 2025 have already closed on September 20, 2025. As the registration for AIBE 20 is about to begin, candidates are expecting the AIBE 20 Exam Date to be postponed to December 2025.

There has been no confirmation or intimation from the Bar Council of India for the postponement of the AIBE 20 exam date yet. However, there is a 50% chance that the exam date is being postponed to December first week or the second week. The CAT exam date is unlikely to be postponed, so candidates should prepare for the CAT 2025 exams to be held as per the schedule. However, in case of any changes in the AIBE 20 exam date, the same shall be notified through the official website only. Hence, candidates are advised to follow the official website frequently for the latest updates.
