CBSE Class 12 Psychology Marks Distribution 2025-26: This article outlines the chapter-wise marks distribution for Class 12 Psychology for the academic year 2025–26, providing insight into how marks are allocated to each unit and enabling students to plan accordingly. The Psychology paper, as per the new syllabus and exam pattern, will be of 100 marks, which includes 70 marks theory and 30 marks practical/internal assessment .

According to theofficial structure, the theory exam will be conducted for 3 hours, and the test will be on seven core units prescribed in class 12 NCERT Psychology textbooks. Out of all these, Variations in Psychological Attributes and Self and Personality are of greatest importance, with a weightage of 13 marks , which are the highest scoring units in the question paper. In these units, questions are frequently asked about intelligence, aptitude, personality theories, and assessment techniques in long answers format.
