CBSE Date Sheet 2024 likely this week, check latest changes in exam pattern

CBSE Date Sheet 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education is likely to release CBSE date sheet 2024 for Class 10 and 12 this week. For the 2024 test, the conducting authorities have introduced some major changes to the exam pattern based on the feedback shared by the stakeholders. CBSE 2024: Latest Changes in Exam Pattern

The Board has decided to implement the five following changes in CBSE Class 10 and 12 exam pattern: 

Latest Change 1

Similar to other subjects, the Board has decided that normal line answer books will be provided to the students instead of table answer books during the examination. 

Latest Change 2

The Board will not calculate, or declare the marks percentage of the student. Furthermore, the best five subjects will not be decided by the Board but by the admitting institutions.

Latest Change 3

The Board will conduct CBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations separately for students who fail to appear for the examination due to their national and international, or international Olympiad sports events. However, no later date will be available for practical and compartment tests. The sports event must be recognised by BCCI, SAI, and HBCSE. 

Latest Change 4

The Board has released 60 and 70 sample question papers for Class 10 and 12 examination respectively. The answers for each is available in the marking scheme. 

Latest Change 5

Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister of Education declares that new textbooks with updated syllabus will be developed for 2024 academic session. 

Latest Change 6

Students will now have to choose one Indian language and one another language from now on. Subjects can be chosen irrespective of the streams.
