The Department of Technical Education, Kerala announced the notification for the spot admissions for M.Tech courses across various engineering colleges in Kerala. The centralized spot admissions will commence on 11-August-2016. The admission process will be conducted by the department at College of Engineering, Trivandrum. The candidates who were not included in the rank list and process of seat allotment, can attend the spot admissions. The last date for attending spot admissions is 12-August-2016.

The candidates who were allotted seats and are not satisfied with the choice of their college can also attend the spot counselling. However, these students have to produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the head of the institute in which they were allotted seat. Through producing NOC, the candidates are exempted from remitting liquidated damages while changing the institutions on the basis of spot admissions.

The candidates who have already remitted the fee and not included in any of the rank lists can also attend the spot admissions. The students have to report in the respective colleges on or before 16-August-2016 after the completion of admission process.
