CFA Exam Results: CFA Level 1 Exam Result for Feb 2022 To be Emailed on April 12

CFA Level 1 Exam Result: CFA Institute declared that the result for the CFA Level 1 exam for Feb 2022 will be released on 12 April 2022. The candidates will get their results via e-mail which will say if they have passed the exam or not. The CFA Level 1 exam took place from 15 to 21 February 2022. Candidates who appeared for Level 2 in February 2022 can expect their results to be announced on 19 April 2022. Usually, the results are released either on Tuesdays or on Thursdays. 

CFA February 2022 Exam Result Date

The CFA exam date and expected result release dates are given below with some other details-

Apart from the email, the result can also be accessed from the official CFA website- cfainstitute.org. The candidates need to use their email ID to log in and check their results. 'Pass' or 'Fail' will be shown in the result along with topic-wise performance.

CFA Exam Passing Score

A candidate must meet the Minimum Passing Score (MPS) in order to pass the CFA exam. The MPS varies every year but the maximum is 70%. The CFA Institute Board of Governers set the exact MPS value. However, the MPS or individual candidate scores are never released. Therefore, one might never really know how much they have scored but-

• If they have passed, they have met the Minimum Passing Score.
• If they have failed, they were below the Minimum Passing Score.

While viewing the CFA result, candidates must keep these two important things in mind when it comes to exam scores- 

Blue above Black = Pass; Blue below Black = Fail.

What After the CFA Result Declaration? 

If a candidate passes the CFA Feb 2022 level 1 exam then he/ she can sit for the level 2 exam in August 2022. However, if the candidate fails the exam then he/ she can sit for the August level 1 exam again, and if they pass, they can apply for the level 2 exam in Feb 2023.
