CISF Recruitment 2022 Selection Process for Constable/Tradesman Vacancies

CISF Recruitment 2022 Selection Process: Candidates appearing for CISF Recruitment 2022 exam have to undergo five selection stages i.e, Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Examination under OMR / CBT Mode, Skill test, Medical Examination, and Documents Verification. Test takers who successfully qualify for all these stages will be eligible for the final list of CISF posts.

Stage 1: Physical Standard Test/PST 

Stage 2: Computer-Based Test/CBT 

The second stage of the CISF Recruitment 2022Selection Process is a computer-based test. The question paper will comprise subjects such as General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and Hindi/English. Candidates must note that the qualifying marks for the general/ESM (Ex-Servicemen) are 35% and For SC/ST/OBC is 33%.

Note: “It will not be mandatory to call all the qualified candidates in the written examination for the 2 nd stage i.e. PST/PET/Documentation and Trade test. The number of candidates to be called for 2nd stage would depend on the total number of qualified candidates in the written examination with reference to the number of vacancies for each post and each category. Accordingly, cut-off marks would be prescribed for each category” reads the official notification.

Stage 3: Skill Test

The third stage of the selection process is a skill test. The minimum typing speed required for English is 10 mins i.e, 35 words per minute. In Hindi 30 words per minute is mandatory.

Stage 4: Medical Examination and Review

The fourth stage of CISF recruitment is the medical examination. Aspirants will be declared fit only after their medical examination is done. All the medically fit candidates will be shortlisted for the merit list.

Stage 5: Merit List 

The final stage of the recruitment process is the declaration of the merit list which will be updated based on the candidate's performance in the CBT examination. It must be noted that the merit list is organized separately by the exam officials for different categories.
