CLAT Answer Key 2023 is now out and available for direct PDF download here. The Consortium of NLUs has conducted CLAT 2023 today, December 18, 2022, from 2 PM to 4 PM. The exam was carried out as an offline pen-and-paper test at various examination centres across the country. As candidates were given a carbonized copy of their OMR, they can easily check and calculate their score after the examination is done by using CLAT answer key 2023.

CLAT Answer Key 2023: Official PDF Download

The Consortium of NLUs has published CLAT 2023 official answer key on December 18, 2022 at 8:35 PM. This answer key is provisional in nature and subject to changes as per the grievances noted against it. A direct link to it has been updated here through which the candidates can download the same in PDF format.

The consortium will open a window on its official portal, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, to submit objections against the provisional CLAT 2023 answer key, if any. This objection window will be accessible through the candidate login and will be open for submissions on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 9 AM.

CLAT Answer Key 2023: How to Raise Objections?

Objections against CLAT 2023 answer key can only be submitted online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Objections raised through emails, calls, etc. will not be entertained. The following are the steps to raise objections against the official CLAT answer key 2023:

CLAT Answer Key 2023 Objection Date & TimeDecember 19, 2022 (From 9 AM) to December 20, 2022 (Until 9 AM)

Step 1: Log in to your CLAT account and click on Submit Objections.

Step 2: Select the type of objection you want to raise: i. About the question, or ii. About the answer key.

Step 3: Enter objection details and click on Submit Objection.

Step 4: Once all your objections are submitted, click on the Make Payment button to make the payment. A fee of INR 1,000/- is to be paid per objection for it to be considered for evaluation.

Important: 

  • Students shall tally the Question Number from their own Question Booklet with the Master Question Booklet and raise objections only on the appropriate Question Numbers from Master Question Booklet.

  • If Candidates raise Objections on their own Question Booklet and the Question Number does not match with the Master Question Booklet, the consortium will not respond to such objections.

All the noted objections against the provisional key will then be evaluated by the consortium authorities. If any objections are found valid, the same will be accepted and implemented in the final answer key. It will be released on December 24, 2022 and no objections against it will be entertained. The final result will be evaluated as per CLAT final answer key 2023.

The unofficial answer key for CLAT 2023 examination will be updated here soon after the completion of the paper. Although this answer key is based on the solutions defined by the subject experts, minor changes with respect to the official answer key may occur.

    CLAT Answer Key 2023: Latest Press Release

    The Consortium of NLUs released a notice which details the timings for the objection window against CLAT Answer Key 2023, which is yet to be released. The following are the highlights of the press release:

    • The Consortium will notify the Master Question Paper and Provisional Answer Key by the end of day on Sunday, December 18, 2022 (by 12 Midnight).

    • Candidates may raise objections to the Master Question Paper and Provisional Answer Key, if any, on the Consortium website. The portal for objection(s) will open at 09:00 AM on Monday, December 19, 2022 and close at 09:00 AM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

    • Attendance percentage for CLAT UG 2023: 93.6%

    • Attendance percentage for CLAT PG 2023: 91.7%

    CLAT Answer Key 2023: Equal Weightage Given to GK and Current Affairs

    In what was the most difficult section in CLAT 2023 question paper as per the students, it was seen that an almost equal 50-50 weightage was given to Static General Knowledge and Current Affairs. If students have lesser static general knowledge, then this section was especially tougher.

    Will CLAT Answer Key be set-wise?

    In order to avoid any malpractice during the examination, the examination is conducted in various sets of question papers but essentially, the questions across all sets remain the same. For each set, these same questions are shuffled. So instead of releasing CLAT answer key 2023 separately for each set, the Consortium creates a Master Question Paper and a Master Answer Key which comprises of all questions from all sets. Candidates have to refer to this master paper and key to check out their own question paper set.

    CLAT Answer Key Objection Submission Dates

    The Consortium of NLUs will activate CLAT answer key 2023 objection submission window as soon as it releases the official CLAT answer key. The window will be active online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in for a duration of 24 hours exactly. For example, if CLAT 2023 answer key is released today at 8 PM, the objection window will be available until December 19, 8 PM and similarly until 9 PM if released at 9 PM today. It is important to note that these timings are merely stated as an example and not confirmed by the authority.

    CLAT Answer Key 2023 Objections

    The Consortium of NLUs allows the candidates to raise objections against the official CLAT 2023 answer key. This is done so that the entire evaluation-results system is more transparent. The consortium also provides carbonized copies of their OMR answer sheets to aid the same. Thus, if the candidate finds any mistake in the provisional CLAT 2023 answer key, an objection can be submitted against it and the answer will be revaluated by the consortium. All such objections that are found correct will be reflected in the final answer key. CLAT 2023 results will only be published based on the final redeemed answer key instead of the provisional key.
