CLAT First Cutoff 2026:
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) announced the first allotment list today,
January 7, at 10 AM
. Based on this release, the CLAT First Cutoff 2026 has been provided here. These cutoff details will help candidates assess their likelihood of gaining admission to the reputed National Law Universities for both LLB and LLM programs. Cutoff ranks differ across various categories, including vertical and horizontal reservations, and indicate the minimum qualifying marks required for admission to the five-year integrated undergraduate law courses offered by the participating NLUs. Candidates whose ranks fall within the specified cutoff range may receive an admission offer, provided they fulfill the eligibility requirements and take part in the counseling process.

Candidates who fall within the CLAT 2026 first cutoff are eligible to proceed to the next stage of the admission process. Shortlisted applicants will be issued an admission offer letter, which must be downloaded from the official CLAT website. To confirm their seat, candidates are required to pay the prescribed admission fee within the stipulated time, and report to the respective institutions with original documents. If anybody fails, then their admission will be cancelled.

Th eCLAT First Cutoff 2026 is expected to be released either by 11 AM today, or before 12 PM. Usually, the Round 1 cutoff is released within 2-3 hours after the declaration of seat allotment result. Every year, the consortium does not release the Round 1 result and cutoff simultaneously.
