CLAT Seat Allotment 2023: First allotment list to be released tomorrow

CLAT Seat Allotment 2023: Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will release the Round 1 seat allotment of CLAT counselling 2023 tomorrow, January 18, 2023. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process will be able to check the seat allotment list. CLAT round 1 seat allotment list 2023 will be published at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The admission authority has already confirmed an exact time for the release of the Round 1 seat allotment list.

Important rules regarding CLAT 2023 seat acceptance process

Here are the important rules pertaining to CLAT 2023 seat acceptance process - 

• Once the seat allotment list is released, candidates will be able to download it from the NLU portal
• They will need to use their login credentials such as their application number and password to check their allotment result
• If they are satisfied with the seat allotment, then they can "Freeze" their options and pay their admission fee as prescribed by the concerned authorities. In case candidates fail to pay their fee by the given date then they will need to choose the exit option and forfeit their seat. 
• Candidates who require an upgrade in seat allotment will have to pay the seat confirmation fee and wait for the Round 2 allotment list. Such candidates will have to choose the 'Float' option
• The 'Float' option is available to only those candidates who have not secured admission as per their first preference 

Based on the score obtained and preferences selected by them, the seat allotment result will be processed. Those who are willing to take admission can pay the required fee before the deadline, 22nd January. The allotment list will be prepared in five rounds and candidates can either accept or apply for an upgrade according to their wishes.
