Participating institutes require the COAP registration number to finalize M.Tech admissions at the official web portal- gate.iisc.ac.in. Students who have applied for the program will receive admission offers through COAP, with seat allocation based on GATE scores and candidate preferences. Candidates can then choose to accept, reject, or retain their allocated seats. The counseling process consists of five main rounds, with additional rounds conducted to fill any remaining seats.

What Options are Available for COAP Round 2 Offers 2025?
The GATE COAP Round 2 offers students three options after the seat allotment results are published. Out of the given options, candidates need to opt of one option.
1. Accept and Freeze: Choose the preferred offer, select this option, submit preferences, and complete the admission process via the official IIT/PSU website.
2. Retain and Wait: For those partially satisfied with their allotment who wish to wait for better offers. Steps include choosing the preferred offer, selecting this option, and checking the COAP website for further rounds.
3. Reject and Wait: For candidates unsatisfied with their seat, they should select this option and wait for the next round. Candidates not allotted any seat should also wait for subsequent rounds.
