An official notification was released by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (UP) according to which, the counselling dates for Combined Pre Ayush Test (CPAT) 2016 have been postponed.
The counselling was earlier scheduled for October 18.
Students appearing for the CPAT will be competing for 3,160 seats at 49 government and private colleges for admissions to the following courses:
- Ayurvedic
- Unani
- Homeopathy
The test was conducted in Varanasi, Lucknow, Kanpur and Bareilly where 15,162 out of the 16,000 applicants appeared for the exam.

The new counselling date has not been announced by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (UP) yet. Candidates can check for the counselling date after the official notification by following the below-mentioned steps:

- Fill in the required details
- Press enter
The exam was hosted by Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith and the results were announced on October 2.
Fee details:
- Candidates must pay Rs. 5000 as security amount and Rs. 500 as counselling fee.
