The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to rescind the process of certificate submission or uploading as a part of the CSIR UGC NET 2020 June application process. Applicants now do not have to mandatorily upload their certificates while applying for the June 2020 CSIR UGC NET exam and only uploading their signature and photograph would suffice in addition to an undertaking.
The decision was taken by the NTA officials after receiving several complaints from the applicants who were finding it extremely difficult to upload documents such as “Result Awaited Attestation Form”, updated “Category Certificate”, and similarly other important documents from the competent authority while applying for CSIR UGC NET 2020 June exam.
The last date to apply for the 2020 June CSIR UGC NET exam is 15th May 2020 which was extended earlier keeping in mind the nationwide lockdown which is being currently followed across the country to keep the spread of COVID-19 at bay.
The applicants, as mentioned earlier, have to submit an undertaking which states that the applicants have to furnish their Result Awaited Attestation Form, updated Category Certificate or any other similar documents from a competent authority as and when demanded by the CSIR.
