To facilitate and encourage greater participation from applicants across India in the Common University Entrance Examination, CUET (UG) - 2024 Examination Help Centres will be set up by NTA. CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern has been provided below.  

• The CUET examination will be conducted in three slots.
• The National Testing Agency will announce final timings of the exam soon.
• Candidates can select a maximum of 10 subjects from all three Sections. 
• According to the CUET exam pattern 2024, in Sections 1A and 1B, 40 out of 50 questions in each language must be attempted.
•  Section 2 - Domain, 35/40 Questions to be attempted out of 45/50
• Section 3 - General Test, 50 Questions to be attempted out of 60
• PwBD applicants will receive an extra 20 minutes as per the CUET 2024 exam pattern.

The National Testing Agency will announce the CUET Application Form 2024 release date very soon. Usually, NTA releases the official notification of CUET UG 2024, and the application form in the first week of February. Therefore, candidates can expect the CUET Application Form to be released in the first week of February 2024.

CUET UG Application Form 2024: Specifications of Photo and Signature 

The specifications for scanned photograph and scanned signature of the candidates have been provided below. 

• The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
• The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible). The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).

Can I submit two CUET Applications?

No, Applicants are not allowed to submit two CUET UG application forms 2024. It will result in the cancellation of the candidature. Therefore, aspirants must fill out only one CUET application form.

• Previous Years’ Marksheets
• Scanned Photograph and Signature

CUET 2024 Registration Last Date: Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of CUET 2024 Section IA has been provided below.  

• Section IA consists of the Language Test.
• There are 13 different languages.
• Test takers can select any one of these languages to appear for Section IA.
• Each language in Section IA of CUET 2024 comprises 50 questions, out of which 40 should be answered.
• In the language test of CUET 2024, linguistic skills are tested through Reading Comprehension. Different kinds of Reading comprehension may be asked in CUET 2024
• IA Section, for instance, RC on passages, Factual RCs, Literary and Narrative RCs, or Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary.
• The duration of the IA Section of CUET 2024 is 45 Minutes per language.
