CUET UG Day 1 and Slot 3 Exam 2023 Delayed by 2 HoursCUET UG Day 1 and Slot 3 Exam 2023 Delayed: The CUET 2023 exam begins today, May 21st, 2023. The exams are being conducted in three slots each day, Slot 1: 8:30 am to 10:30 am, Slot 2: 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and Slot 3: 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. However, on the very first day of the exam, due to mismanagement by the National Testing Agency, the Slot 3 exam has now been delayed by 2 hours. Students are in a dilemma as they have been waiting for a long to appear for the exams at various exam centers. Some students are furious and at the same time, some of the students are also panicking as to what will be happening next. Students have traveled from far away places to appear for the exams, and due to the delay, they shall have to suffer transportation problems as well. As per the latest information, the exams will now begin at 4:45 pm at the Noida Sector-62 Exam Centre.

Students are upset as they are standing in the scorching heat at the gate of the exam centers at a 40-degree temperature. As per the schedule, the last reporting time for the Slot 3 examination was 3:15 pm, and the exam was supposed to start at 3:30, however, now the students will be allowed to enter the exam centers at 4:45 pm. Only after which the students will be allowed to appear for the exams. The ending exam time will be calculated 3 hours after the exam time begins, for which no official statement has been released by the NTA or any official associated with the CUET 2023 exams. No prior information was passed, merely, an announcement was pasted outside the examination hall causing inconveniences to the students.
It is best that the NTA looks into the matter, and set the exam timings accordingly instead of causing last-minute hassle is what the students are seeking in the upcoming exam days. Additionally, some students also complain that NTA has not arranged exam centers in their exam city, even after filling in the application forms, so such mistakes are expected to be avoided by NTA in the future so that students, need not face inconvenience.
