The Students’ Central Association, department of evening studies, MDRC, Punjab University organised its annual cultural function at the university auditorium where more than 1000 students and faculty participated.
Pawan Kumar Bansal, former Union Cabinet Minister was the chief guest on this occasion. It was marked by a cultural programme of the students of the department. Students presented their different artistic performance during the cultural programme. Students also showcased their talent through Sufi kalam, Ladakhi dance, guitar medley, mime, skit, giddah and bhangra.
The department chairperson, Prof Keshav Malhotra applauded and congratulated the faculty, staff and students for their academic, administrative, sports, social and cultural achievements at different levels. More than 200 outstanding students were given prizes for their accomplishments.
