DAVV MBA 1st Sem Exams to be Postponed: The First Semester exams of MBA at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) are likely to be delayed for 2 to 3 weeks from the scheduled date of November 20, 2025 . The decision is being considered after requests from several affiliated colleges, which cited that the syllabus completion was being delayed due to late commencement of classes .

As per university sources, MBA classes for the 2025-26 academic session began very late this year as the admission process was extended beyond the deadline. Hence, the colleges could not manage to complete the recommended syllabus in time. Teachers and students have also made a plea for an extension because performance would be better, and for enhanced learning outcomes.

DAVV officials stated that the matter has been taken up for consideration, and a final decision will be out shortly. There are formal representations from several associated colleges for a short delay. The proposal is being considered, and new dates of examination will be notified soon. Tentatively, the rescheduled exam can be held between December 10 and 20, 2025 .

The postponement, if sanctioned, will also bring in line the MBA academic schedule with those of other post-graduate courses of the university. This coordination would eliminate the coincidence in exam schedules and many other problems that the examination department faces. The shift, if implemented, will also give students a reasonable opportunity to complete their internal work and prepare for the semester-end exam.

In the meantime, DAVV officials have allowed colleges to continue doing their academic activities as per the schedule. The institutions have also been unable to complete the unfinished parts of the syllabus and to take the internal exams without any interruption, for which the students’ progress should not be delayed.

After the deferral is sanctioned formally, the university will issue a comprehensive notification based on which new dates for the exam, along with important instructions to the students and guidelines for conducting the internal and practical examination.
