The University of Delhi had recently held an International Students Fair with the foreign students of the university for encouraging more foreign admissions. The university also inaugurated a dedicated foreign students admission portal where the foreign aspirants and students of DU will recieve all the facilities like admissions and important notifications.
The event was attended by the minister of External Affairs in the state of Delhi, Mr. V Muralidharan as a chief guest. Except that, a number of other guests were also invited who graced the event with their valued presence.
Mr Muralidharan, in his address to the event, said that India is becoming a highly preferred destination for foreign students for higher studies. He put light on the fact that the number of foreign students in Delhi University has gone up steadily from the past few years. This is a good indication of the rising quality of education in the university as the students are attracted to it now.
The event which was held on 5th November 2019 marked the presence of more prominent personalities. Professor Yogesh K Tyagi, the Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University presided over the external affairs minister and he spoke on a similar note.

The event was held on the Vice Regal Lodge which is situated at the North Campus of Delhi University. In the event, a cultural festival was also held for promoting bondage between diverse cultures present at the University of Delhi as the university continues to attract students not only from abroad but also from the different parts of India. The guests held an interactive session with the students where they actively took part in.
