According to the revised test centres list of JEE Main 2017, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh and Kota in Rajasthan are amongst the newly added test centres for 2017 JEE Mains. The revised list was released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on December 16, 2016. As per new additions, the JEE Main 2017 examination will now take place across 113 cities and JEE Mains 2017 will have 9 test centres abroad.

Apart from Dhaka, JEE Main 2017 will also take place in: -

- Kathmandu

- Bahrain
For 2017 JEE exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have made Aadhar number mandatory to fill online application form for JEE Main 2017 examination. On the other hand, students from Meghalaya, Assam, Jammu and Kashmir are exempted from this rule. In these states, the process of registering Aadhar Card has not started yet.

With an objective to facilitate the candidates who do not have Aadhar card or number, CBSE has requested Unique Identification Authority of India to set up Aadhar facilitation centres. These centres will help the candidates with registering for their Aadhar Cards. The candidates can fill the online application form for JEE Main 2017 only with their Aadhar number.
In an another announcement, CBSE stated that mock tests for JEE Main 2017 are available on the official site of JEE. The candidates can consider mock test as a practice test which enables them to know their capability and builds confidence.
