Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology organizes DHANUSH - 2K16
Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vijayawada organized Dhanush – 2k16, a two-day national level techno and cultural fest at college premises on 26 Feb 2016 and 27 Feb 2016.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief guest Shri.Lakshmi Narayana, IAS. Addressing the students he said that “Students have to actively participate in all the activities related to skills development”. He stressed that “Students have to develop creative skills which are very essential nowadays”. He concluded that “Students must possess the skills like critical thinking and problem solving.”
Students exhibited various Projects and Fancy Fete was conducted at college ground. Various food stalls were kept to quench the hunger of visitors. Mouth watering dishes were prepared by the students.
Various events of the two-day fest were;
- Raagam – Solo Singing and Group Singing
- Nruthyam – Solo dance and Group Dance
- Spot Painting
- Spot Photography
- Beauty with brains and
- Stage Play
Around 1500 students from 60 colleges came enthusiastically to participated in the various events. Around 3000 students from various engineering colleges in Vijayawada came to have a glance of events, Fancy fete and food stalls.
