Applicants are required to submit all the important documents by November 3, 2025 , to complete the application process. The documents must be submitted physically at the designated study centres by the applicants. The registration and course fee to be submitted for the application is Rs 10,000/-. Those who have qualified the DURAT 2025 exam or have a valid fellowship from examinations like CSIR/UGC NET/GATE are eligible to apply for the interview round for PhD admission. If you have a CSIR/UGC NET/GATE qualification, you must submit a physical copy of the award letter.
Those who have a research fellowship from any national-level Government or Semi-Government funding authority will also need to submit a letter of authorisation.
An M.Phil. Pass Certificate and Marksheet if you have completed the degree.
Print copies of the marksheets and pass certificates of the applicant from higher secondary to the Master’s degree.
It is also mandatory to submit a proof of caste category certificate for those belonging to the reserved categories.
If an applicant falls under the category of PwD, they must bring the relevant documents to prove their disability.
- Those who are currently employed and applying for the PhD admission will have to bring a no-objection certificate from their employer.

The Dibrugarh University PhD DURAT Registration 2025-26 is ongoing for the personal interview round selection. Those who have qualified the written exam with at least 50% marks are eligible to appear for the viva-voce selection round. The weightage for this round in the admission process is 30%.
