DKTE's Institute Final ETC Students successfully designed project " 3D Printer"

DKTE's Institute final Year ETC students Mr. Yash Jain, Mr. Chandrashekhar Kalnad, Mr. Lalit Ramteke and Miss. Snehal Rabade have successfully designed / developed the project “3D Printer”, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. S. A. Patil. The cheaper raw materials like plastic, metal can be used in this 3d printer & hence, manufacturing of products at low cost is possible.

This printer can be used in fields like- Medical, Automotive, Aerospace, Art and sculptors., Electronic gadgets manufacturing., Textiles, Civil work. This project has been included in incubation center to develop further under MSME grant.

These students & Prof.Dr.S.A.Patil were felicitated by D.K.T.E Management, Principal, HOD Textiles and faculty members.

Inspite of the process of phenomenal growth of the textile industry which was taking place at Ichalkaranji during last 25 years there was no educational institute up to 1980 which could cater a industry's need of technically trained man power. The local industry was facing handicapped due to the dearth of technically qualified personnel. Different co-op. organizations from Ichalkaranji therefore came together under the leadership of Mr. K.B. Awade (Ex.
