The Directorate of Medical Education has recently added additional seats for round 3 NEET UG counselling 2025. The candidates who are willing to be admitted to MBBS/BDS courses in colleges like Annai Medical College, Arunai Medical College, Panimalar Medical College, St. Peter’s Medical College, and Tagore Medical College can fill their choices till November 1, 2025. Students who did not get a seat through Round 1 and Round 2 of counselling cannot participate in the third round of counselling. Here are the details.

NEET UG Round 3 Counselling 2025: Important Instructions

The list below details the important instructions of NEET UG round 3 counselling:-

  • Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 or 2, or those who were allotted but did not join, do not need to register again.

  • Candidates who joined in Round 1 or 2 and wish to opt for upgradation don’t need to pay the registration fee again, but must confirm participation during the Round 3 registration window.

  • New candidates can register for Round 3 if they didn't register in Round 1 or 2, but must have applied to the Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee and be on the published Merit List.

  • Candidates who wish to retain their existing seats need not participate in Round 3.

  • Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 3 will not be eligible for State Quota Round 3 counselling.

  • Candidates who opt for upgradation in Round 3 must relinquish their earlier allotted seat and join the new one.

  • After registration, candidates wishing for upgradation or those unallotted or not joined must fill their choices carefully, prioritising their preferred colleges.
