DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Option Form 2022: The first round of polytechnic admission in Maharashtra began on August 19 with the display of provisional category-wise seats and based on it, candidates will have to fill DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Option Form 2022 from August 20 to 23. The option form will consist of the college and branch preferences of the candidates and it is mandatory to be filled online to be eligible for the respective CAP round.

DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Option Form is available on its official website @poly22.dte.maharashtra.gov.in and can be accessed through the registered candidate login using their Username and Password. Important do’s and don’ts while filling out DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Option Form 2022 are listed below so that the candidates may avoid these common mistakes.

Do’s while Filling DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Option Form 2022

The following-listed things must be done when filling out Maharashtra Polytechnic Option Form 2022:

• The option form must be filled out online through the https://poly22.dte.maharashtra.gov.in portal only. Any other forms of the option form submission will be considered invalid.
• It is mandatory for all candidates to fill out the option form online within the given deadline (August 20 to 23). If any candidate fails to do so, they will be considered ineligible for the respective round.
• The college and branch preferences shall be input in decreasing order of their preferences such that their most preferred college/branch has the first preference.
• The serial number of the block in the option form indicates the preference number, meaning the college/branch entered in block no. 1 will be taken as the candidate’s first preference or the highest priority choice.
• Once the option form is submitted, no modifications will be allowed to it thereafter for the respective CAP round. Thus, candidates shall recheck all their preferences once again before the final submission.
• The institute code must be carefully paid attention to while entering the preferences.
• For surety, candidates will have to reenter their Application ID and Password to make the final submission.
• A minimum of 1 and a maximum of 300 college/branch combinations can be filled in the option form.

Don’ts while Filling DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Option Form 2022

To avoid any errors and resulting problems, the below-mentioned things must not be put into practice while submitting Maharashtra Polytechnic Option Form 2022:

• Do not share your Application ID and Password with others to avoid impersonation. If someone else submits the option form on behalf of the candidate, the Directorate will not be considered responsible and no changes in the option form will be allowed as well.
• Do not send the filled-out option form to DTE Maharashtra via email, fax, post, or any other online/offline means except through the poly22.dte.maharashtra.gov.in portal. All such submissions will be summarily rejected and will not be considered for further processing.
• Do not submit the form without rechecking all the preferences and institute codes as the preferences cannot be modified further.
• Do not fill only one preference as it will reduce the probability of a college being allotted and the candidate may end up with no allotted seat. Therefore, it is advised to fill at least 10 or more college/branch preferences.
