Initially, it was scheduled to start today, on May 21, 2026 . As per the schedule, the HSTES Polytechnic round 1 choice filling process will begin on June 16, 2026, at 10 AM . Also, the authority has extended the last date of round 1 HSTES Polytechnic registration. Candidates who have yet to participate in the registration process, however, want to participate in the HSTES Polytechnic round 1 counselling process, should complete the process on or before June 10, 2026. Post that, the authority will release the HSTES Round 1 merit list on June 15, 2026, for all the successfully registered candidates on the official website.

After successful registration, an ID will be generated, which needs to be saved. To fill out the choices, the candidates should log in using the registration ID. Only candidates whose names will be displayed on the Inter-se-merit list will be eligible to participate in the HSTES Polytechnic Round 1 choice-filling process.
