Candidates who either did not secure a seat or have opted for an upgrade in the previous round are eligible to participate in the choice filling process for this round. According to the official notice, the option form will be available from July 28 to July 29, 2025. During this period, candidates are encouraged to fill in as many preferences as possible to maximize their chances of admission.
Candidates are also advised to review the closing ranks from previous rounds of counselling participating institutions, as well as to check the provisional list of vacant seats for CAP Round 3. Once the DTE Maharashtra DSD CAP Round 3 choice filling window closes, the authority will release the provisional seat allotment on July 31, 2025. After downloading the seat allotment letter, candidates will have to accept their seats online and pay the required seat acceptance fee within the scheduled time. On the other hand, candidates are not satisfied with their seat allotment then wait for the round 4 seat allotment. If any candidates fail to report at the allotted institutions with the submission of necessary documents, then their seat will be vacant.
