The round 1 cutoff will be useful for the students, who want to go for a seat upgradation and want to participate in the next rounds. More specifically, the candidates can refer to the CAP Round 1 cutoff to get a tentative idea about the Round 2 cutoff for the participating colleges. Note, that the CAP Round 2 cutoff will be varied from Round 1 since it depends on factors like seat availability and the number of participants for Round 2. It is obvious, that the available seats will be less than Round 1 and the same will be reflected in the respective cutoff.

What after DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Round 1 Cutoff?
Post releasing the DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Round 1 cutoff and provisional seat allotment result, the candidates should decide whether they are satisfied with the seat allotment or not. If yes, then they should accept the seat by paying the requisite fees and completing the reporting process to the allotted college. If not, then the candidates should wait for the seat's betterment. The authority will conduct the CAP Round 2 counselling from August 5, 2023. Before participating in the CAP Round 2, the candidates should refer to the round 1 cutoff, so that they can get an idea about their chances to get a seat to the desired colleges. Also, the candidates should consider the cutoff when they appear for the CAP Round 2 choice-filling process. It will help them to choose the colleges where they have a possibility to get a seat in round 2.
