The University of Delhi has announced that the sixth cut-off list for the admission to merit-based UG or Undergraduate courses will be released on July 22, 2017. Earlier, the authorities of the University of Delhi were of the opinion that the fifth cut-off list will be the final list for the admission to UG courses this year. A few seats are still vacant in some of the DU colleges. However, the sixth cut-off will be out based on the vacant seats after the admission process under fifth cut-off list. The authorities of the University of Delhi extended the date of admissions based on fifth cut-off until July 20, 2017. Therefore, the aspirants who did not clear the cut-off mark as per the fifth list will have to wait for two more days for the next cut-off.

If the University of Delhi releases the sixth cut-off on July 22, 2017, the admission process will take place from July 22 to July 25, 2017, excluding Sunday. The authorities of the varsity have also decided to conduct a special admission drive for the students who come under OBC, PWD, Sports, Kashmir Migrants, Children of Widow and Armed Forces, SC and ST categories.

The special admission drive for the above-mentioned categories will begin on July 31, 2017, and will continue until August 5, 2017.
Earlier, the University of Delhi released the fifth cut off on July 17, 2017, and the cut-off mark for few courses stood at 97%.
