Finally, the registrations for UG courses at Delhi University have concluded. According to sources, more than 3 lakh candidates registered for merit-based UG courses for the academic session 2017-18. The varsity will release the first cut-off on June 24, 2017, and the second cut-off is expected on June 24, 2017. The document verification and approval of admission will begin soon after the cut-off list is out. The varsity is yet to begin the registrations for entrance based UG courses.
The official website of Delhi University also stated that the ECA trials will begin from June 17, 2017. The official schedule of ECA trails is available on the ‘information bulletin’ tab of DU official website. The varsity has released ECA trails schedule for all the 41 games/ sports.

Even though 3 lakh students registered for UG courses, only 2.25 lakh candidates were able to complete the registration process and payment of examination fee. Few students began filling the application form at the last minute and failed to complete the registration process. Last year, around 3.4 lakh students were able to register for UG courses. The varsity had extended the deadline to fill the applications that resulted in more applications.

This year, the varsity did not extend the deadline, and the number of applications dropped by 40,000.
