Department of Biotechnology of Sahrdaya College of Engineering & Technology is going to organize one-week faculty development programme on Technological Development in Bioprocess Engineering, which will be sponsored by AICTE. It is scheduled for November 27, 2017, until December 9, 2017.
Seminar Theme:
Worldwide interest is generated in biotechnology because of new and modern development in genetics and molecular biology. Moreover, bioprocessing is the heart of biotech industries. Bioprocess engineers make the desired product by manipulating and designing micro-organisms, animals and plants via direct and chemical conversions.

Eligibility Details:
- Faculty members of engineering streams such as Chemical, Petrochemical, Biotechnology, Civil and Mechanical Engineering.
- Engineering Students/ industries personnel are also eligible to take part.
- Faculty belonging to other disciplines, provided this course would supplement their research.
- Admission will be offered subject to the availability of seats basis the AICTE guidelines.
