The Federal Bank has started inviting applications for the scholarship titled 'Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation' for the academic session 2019-20. Given below is the eligibility criteria that the students can refer to while applying for the scholarship.
Federal Bank Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2019-20
The eligibility criteria for applying for the Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship is as follows:
- Students belonging to Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Kerala and Maharashtra in the first year of Engineering, B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, B.Sc Agriculture including B.Sc (Honours) Co-operation and Banking with Agriculture Sciences conducted by the Agriculture Universities and MBA are eligible to apply.
- Total 20 students from each discipline will get reimbursement of 100% of the tuition fee paid according to the fee structure of the college and the maximum is Rs.1 lakh per year.
- One seat in each discipline will be reserved for students who are physically challenged and they have to submit a certificate issued by a medical officer not below the DMO rank or an approved medical officer at the bank.
- Those who are applying for the scholarship should have got admission under merit in self-financing or aided, government colleges during 2019-20.
- Special preference will be given via a separate channel for the cadres of children of armed forces personnel.
- Those applicants who are from army personnel families do not have to provide their family income as it is not applicable for students who come under this category.

The application for the Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship and the necessary documents which have to be submitted as stated in the application form have to be sent to the nearest Federal Bank branch for verification purpose on or before December 31, 2019.
