Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service Examination (IES/ISS) was conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The results for the same have been declared.

The results have been declared on the basis of the order of merits of the candidates who had appeared in the examination for the post of Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service.
The Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service written examination was conducted in the month of May 2016 and the Personality Test was held in the month of July 2016.

The total number of seats for Indian Economic Service are 15 while for Indian Statistical Service it is 12.
The Indian Economic Service (IES) is the administrative civil service . It comes under Grade A of the Central Civil Services of the executive branch of the Government of India.
A candidate for admission to this exam must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years
