An engineering college of Kerala has signed a memorandum of understanding popularly known as MoU with a university of Malaysia and japan. The institute is FISAT Engineering College short for Federal Institute of Science and Technology.
The agreement has been signed with following two universities:
- Hyogo University, Japan
- Open University, Malaysia

This agreement will help the institute do international level research and train students in a better way. On the basis of agreement, the institute will be able to work in a way which will help in the following aspects.
- Research
- International Certificate Programs
- International Conferences

The agreement was signed by Dr. Naotoshi Umeno who is the International business head of Hyogo University, Joseph Thomas who is the Country head of Malaysian Open University and Paul Mundadan who is the management chairman of FISAT.
After signing the MoU Paul Mundadan told the reporters that everybody will be highly benefited by this agreement and it will help the institute increase its international worth.
