GAT-B 2022 Question Paper Analysis: Check Difficulty Level, Weightage

Graduate Aptitude Test in Biotechnology (GAT-B) has been conducted on April 23, 2022, from 9 AM to 12 PM by the National Testing Agency. The examination has been conducted in CBT Mode. There were two parts in the question paper viz Section-A and Section-B. Section-A had 60 multiple-choice questions, which were compulsory. Section-A had questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Section - B did have questions from various subjects like Life Sciences, Biotechnology, and biology. There were 100 questions in Section - B. There was an internal choice for Section - B. Out of 100 questions, candidates can attempt any 60 questions.

GAT –B 2022 Question paper was available in two languages viz English and Hindi. The examination was conducted for a total of 240 marks. Section-A is tested for 60 marks and Section - B is for 180 marks. In Section-A every correct answer carries one mark, whereas for every incorrect answer three marks would be deducted. In Section - B every right answer will be awarded 0.5 marks and for every wrong attempt, 1 mark will be deducted.
