GATE 2026 Exam Paper can be Edited during Rectification Window; Fees and process

GATE 2026 Application Correction Window

The GATE 2026 application correction window has been made live by IIT Guwahati, giving students a chance to make corrections to their submitted details. The rectification window will remain open until November 3, 2025 , and during this time, applicants can log in to the official GATE portal, i.e., gate2026.iitg.ac.in using their enrollment ID and password to make the necessary edits.

Through this correction facility, students can update important fields such as their chosen GATE exam paper(s), category, gender, date of birth, exam city, and other personal or academic details to ensure the accuracy of their application. It is advised that candidates review all the details carefully before the deadline, because no further changes will be accepted once the window closes. Applicants should also note that GATE correction fees 2026 will be charged based on the type of modification made in the form.
